Hanhart was a pioneer in the field of reliable, highly functional precision chronographs. In 1938, the company designed the single-pusher with its own ``Caliber 40`` for naval officers. Just one year later, the first pilot's chronographs with the ``Caliber 41`` - a switching gear train with flyback function - followed. When the Swiss-German watch brand reissued faithful replicas of these legendary chronographs in the 1990s, it was building on its long tradition and high level of expertise.
