Not just a decision. A statement!

Anyone who hasn’t yet realised that Alexander Shorokhoff’s watches are absolute statement pieces for the wrist will have to admit defeat when they see the new “Kandy Avantgarde Blue”, if not before. This new automatic model isn’t just a watch – it’s a statement!

Unveiled for the first time in February 2026 at INHORGENTA, the successor to the already hugely successful and long-sold-out Kandy Avantgarde series is once again delighting all fans of the exceptional watch manufacturer from Alzenau.

Limited to just 50 pieces, the “Kandy Avantgarde Blue” model really hits the mark – and quite deliberately so. Because the name certainly says it all. Blue elements clearly take centre stage in this colourful avant-garde work of art.

The unconventional and colourful dial alone is enough to captivate the eye: framed by a blue-and-white striped pattern, the bold shades of blue extend seamlessly to the hour and minute hands. Even the blued second hand adds extra depth and makes the overall design even more vibrant.

Of course, the striking angular case doesn’t just sit quietly in the background either. Crafted from stainless steel and featuring recesses on the sides of the case filled with blue wire, the “Kandy Avantgarde Blue” proves once again that ordinary simply isn’t an option.

Inside, the watch is powered by the slim and extremely reliable ETA Calibre 2892 or, alternatively, the SW300 calibre – precise, tried and tested, and of course anything but boring. The rotor is, of course, hand-engraved and elaborately finished by Alexander Shorokhoff. What is still considered a special feature elsewhere has long been standard practice here.

The “Kandy Avantgarde Blue” is available with two completely different styles of wristband: on the one hand, a light blue, fabric-covered rubber strap – sporty, modern and surprisingly supple; on the other, an elegant horsehide leather strap in a carefully selected colour scheme, which lends the model a distinctly more refined and almost artistic aura.

This watch doesn’t just tell the time – it brings movement, colour and life to your wrist. And quite honestly: even Wassily Kandinsky, to whom this model is dedicated, could hardly have designed it in a more expressive way.
