The Meteorite Special Edition is the first-ever timepiece to integrate genuine extraterrestrial material. Forged from an iron meteorite that journeyed across our solar system, pierced through Earth’s atmosphere, and was discovered in northern Sweden, each dial tells a story billions of years in the making. Crafted from our proprietary ultra-robust and ultra-light NORTEQ® carbon fibre composite, this bold creation is more than a high-performance watch: it represents a milestone for NORQAIN. By uniting cutting-edge engineering with a cosmic twist, the Wild ONE collection is elevated to unprecedented heights of craftsmanship and innovation.

For the very first time, the dial is crafted from genuine meteorite stone sourced from outer space, creating a captivating interplay of light, pattern, and texture. Each dial, which is unique to each watch, features the distinctive Widmanstätten pattern, which is naturally occurring crystalline structures that form through extremely slow cooling of metallic asteroids over millions of years, making every piece truly one of a kind. It is a testament to both rarity and craftsmanship that makes this timepiece truly one of a kind.

The open caseback, fitted with scratch-resistant flat sapphire glass, reveals the intricate mechanical artistry within. Highlighting its distinctive character, the caseback is engraved in black with the inscription: “SPECIAL EDITION, METEORITE.”

NORTEQ® is an ultra-light, ultra-robust material developed exclusively for NORQAIN through a close collaboration with Jean-Claude Biver and BIWI SA. This high-performance composite features a distinctive marble effect and offers the ideal balance of density, elasticity, and resistance for optimal shock absorption. For this special edition, the NORTEQ® carbon fibre composite is coloured in burgundy and forms the case’s top and bottom components, which function as a protective cage and are secured with custom-made screws. Enclosed between these parts is an anthracite rubber shock absorber that surrounds the sandblasted titanium container housing the NN20/1 Manufacture Calibre.
